This week we are spending the entirety of our class time
working on our projects. For the next week, I plan to look into making a
website and what goes into that. I’d also like to look into trying to get a
hashtag or video trending that would promote awareness that way. This past
week, I have continued researching mental health stigma and ways to reduce it.
In particular, I’ve researched a lot about the link between poverty and mental
health. I have not heard back from any of the therapists I reached out to and
at this point, I’m not sure they’ll respond. I’m hoping to hear back from them
by the end of this coming week. The lack of response I’ve gotten so far has
definitely been one of the greatest challenges for this project; I really feel like
a therapist's input would be beneficial and important in my project.
